Job Summary

Assists the Manufacturing Technician with the operation of various machinery, including but not limited to blender, sifter, calendar, webbing mill. Work includes precision measuring to produce new product. May perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

• Reviews blueprints or written instruction for new gasket sheet material.
• Helps to determine the appropriate material, machinery and procedures needed to manufacture product.
• Assist in the set-up and operation of precision machinery to manufacture needed product in accordance with established procedures/specifications.
• May assemble manufactured blends into machinery to assure proper thickness and size of individual sheets.

Skills

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with other warehouse workers and delivery service.
• Able to solve basic math skills.
• Organized, and able to maintain a clean work space

Education

• Highschool diploma or equivalent preferred

Work Experience

• Required: 1 year experience in a manufacturing setting
• Required: 1 year of sit-down forklift experience

Physical Requirements

• Must be able to stoop, kneel, crouch, reach, and stand to operate and repair heavy equipment Continuous standing and/or walking.
• Moderate physical effort working frequently with average weights of ten to fifty pounds or continuously with lighter weights.
• Good eye/hand/foot coordination.
• Must be able to work in all types of weather, including extremely hot and cold temperatures
