Position Summary
• Responsible for performing credentialing and privileging processes.
Principal Accountabilities

Education
• High School diploma plus 3 years specialized training
Licenses and Certification
• CPCS Certification (or become certified within one year of eligibility).
Experience and Skills
• Technical Experience: 3 years hospital experience
Physical Activities
• Intermittent hand manipulation required
• Intermittent lifting and carrying of 20 pounds which can be modified
Role Specific Responsibilities
o Performs credentialing and privileging processes.
o Responsible for entering privilege/appointment dates
o Provides administrative and clerical support to medical staff, medical staff
president, department and committee chairs.
o Maintains and distributes community call schedule
o Creates packets, agendas and the accurate recording and drafting of
Medical Executive Committee meetings, quarterly medical staff meetings,
and other committee meetings as required.Orients new medical staff
members to the hospital.
o Assists medical staff manager with preparing annual medical staff office
budget
o Notifying hospital personnel and medical staff members regarding
relevant information
o Maintains knowledge of current Joint Commission medical staff standards
o Responsible for obtaining signatures and required documentation in the
files.
Compensation (Commensurate with experience):
$19.40 - $29.10
