Overview

You will support customers by performing regular maintenance, repair, and refurbishment of laboratory instruments for our client, which includes pharmaceutical laboratories, research institutions, and pharmaceutical manufacturing facilities.

Location: Home office based in California

Duties Include:

• Service HPLC, LC/MS instruments at clients' labs
• Effectively communicate with customers and account team members to troubleshoot, diagnose, provide repair updates, train end-users, and ensure full resolution of all customer needs
• Establish fluency in relevant service documentation, including but not limited to preventative maintenance service reports, IQ/OQ documentation, and other service documentation
• Providing customers and other personnel within the assigned regionwith the necessary support and documentation required to effect instrument repairs, maintenance, and installations
• Travel as required to provide service support to customers and other company personnel (up to 40%)

Knowledge and Skills:

• At least 2 years of experience maintaining and troubleshooting electromechanical equipment
• Experience with LC/MS instruments, ideally Q-TOF
• Able to travel regionally, including overnight travel, and need a valid driver's license
• Military experience is a plus
