The General Manager is responsible for running a profitable restaurant while ensuring the establishment meets McDonald's critical customer standards of Quality, Service, and Cleanliness. The GM works with their leader to set restaurant goals and develop plans to achieve them. They lead a team of Department Managers, helping them set goals, monitor progress, and provide coaching to improve departmental performance. The GM may also hire and develop Department and Shift Managers to build a capable team for the future. Ideal candidates have previous General Manager experience running high-volume locations, with a background in quick-service restaurants, hospitality, or retail. Candidates must be 18 years or older to manage a corporate-owned and operated restaurant.
