Position overview

As an Apartment Make Ready Housekeeper, your responsibility will be to complete all needed improvements to apartment homes prior to resident move-in by following the community's make-ready checklist.

Main duties and responsibilities

• Responsible for helping to maintain the entire property in an attractive, comfortable condition.
• Accurately complete records in Onsite regarding service requests, preventative maintenance, and make-ready of vacant apartments.
• Help clean grounds and all common areas daily.
• Complete all duties regarding make-ready/vacant units including cleaning of Appliances, Windows, Floors, Bathroom fixtures, Cabinets - inside and outside, Vacuuming ,Light fixtures - inside and outside entry doors, Outlet covers, Drapery rods, Patio /balcony ,Light bulb changing/replacement.
• Dispose of trash and waste, other materials in a safe manner.
• Maintains par levels of supplies and assists with ordering of products.
• Perform housekeeping duties in the resident apartments and common areas of the community.
• Perform a variety of cleaning activities such as sweeping, mopping, dusting and polishing.
• Follow task sheet and complete all duties as assigned.
• Assist in maintaining the grounds, common areas, and amenities by picking up trash and debris, pressure-washing breezeways and pool areas, performing general cleaning, and painting curbs and signage as needed.
• Ensure apartment homes have been properly caulked and sealed as needed around windows, sink areas, toilets, bathtubs, and showers.
• Report to Maintenance Supervisor and Property Manager on a regular basis, as directed.

• Demonstrate honesty and integrity at all times in the care and use of resident and facility property.
• Work quickly without compromising quality.
• Need to be thorough, reliable, responsible, organized, and flexible and be service-oriented.
• Able to understand and to follow written and verbal directions.
• Understand proper use of community equipment.

• Proven experience as an Apartment Make Ready Housekeeper.
• Above average written and oral communications skills.

• Basic salary with a transparent commission structure.

• The working language is English.
• This position involves some travelling.
• Solid understanding of anti-discrimination housing laws.
