Educational Diagnostician - $50/hr - Huntsville, TX - Full-Time

Position Overview:

We are partnering with a school district in Huntsville, TX to hire an Educational Diagnostician for the remainder of the 2025-2026 school year. This role involves assessing and diagnosing learning problems, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team, and supporting student placement and services.

Assignment Details:

• Location: Huntsville, TX

• Start Date: January 5, 2026

• End Date: End of school year (20 weeks)

• Schedule: Monday-Friday | 37.5-40 hrs/week

• Modality: In-person preferred; hybrid schedule available

• Pay Rate: $50/hr | W2 position with full benefits

• Openings: 1

Responsibilities:

• Conduct assessments and evaluations for students

• Diagnose learning problems and recommend interventions

• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams

• Maintain accurate documentation and compliance with state regulations

Requirements:

• Active Texas Diagnostician certification

• Master's degree preferred

• Teaching experience preferred

• Current CPR (if applicable)

• TB questionnaire, PPD or chest X-ray (if applicable)

• Current health certificate (per contract or state regulation)

• Must meet all federal, state, and local requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age
