Security Officer - Armed Auto Patrol

As a Security Officer - Armed Auto Patrol in Houston, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Auto, and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol the premises of a leading auto industry location. This armed and driving role involves conducting routine patrols to help deter security-related incidents, maintaining a visible presence, and delivering outstanding customer service. What You'll Do:

• Carry out security-related procedures and follow site-specific policies at the location, providing customer service to clients and visitors.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including emergencies that may arise within the auto industry setting.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols around the business premises and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
• Monitor access points and control the movement of individuals and vehicles within the location to help to deter unauthorized entry.
• Document and report any unusual incidents, security-related concerns, or maintenance needs observed during patrols.
• Work collaboratively with Allied Universal team members and client representatives to address security-related matters and maintain a professional presence.
• Remain alert and prepared to respond to potential threats or emergencies, following established protocols for armed security professionals in an auto industry environment.

Minimum Requirements:

• An armed guard card or license is required.
• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
