Description
Our client, the United States' largest commercial real estate company, is seeking a reliable and organized Mail Services Associate to support mailroom operations at their Houston, TX office. This is a full-time on-site, 2-month contract role that has potential to extend, working Monday - Friday, 7:00am - 4:00pm. The Mail Services Associate will manage incoming and outgoing mail, deliver packages throughout the building, assist the mailroom team, and ensure mail operations run efficiently. Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and prior mailroom experience are essential.
Key Responsibilities of a Mail Services Associate
• Process and distribute incoming and outgoing mail and packages.
• Deliver mail across the building or campus twice daily.
• Lift, push, or pull packages up to 50 lbs safely.
• Interact professionally with building occupants, clients, and vendors.
• Maintain accurate records of mail and package handling.
• Support mailroom team with additional operational tasks as needed.
• Ensure adherence to safety and operational standards.
• Communicate effectively using Outlook, Teams, Excel, and Word.
Qualifications
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Minimum 2 years of hands-on mailroom or office services experience.
• Ability to lift/carry up to 50 lbs and perform physically active delivery tasks.
• Professional appearance and excellent interpersonal skills.
• Proficient with Outlook, Teams, Excel, and Word.
