We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Application Project Manager to lead the planning, execution, and delivery of application development projects. The ideal candidate will oversee cross-functional teams, manage project timelines, budgets, and resources, and ensure the successful deployment of high-quality software applications that meet business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Project Planning and Execution: Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders. Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, milestones, and resource allocation.
• Team Leadership: Lead and coordinate cross-functional teams, including developers, designers, QA engineers, and business analysts, to ensure alignment with project goals.
• Stakeholder Communication: Act as the primary point of contact for stakeholders, providing regular updates on project progress, risks, and issues. Facilitate clear communication between technical and non-technical teams.
• Risk Management: Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure timely and successful project delivery.
• Budget and Resource Management: Monitor project budgets, track expenses, and optimize resource utilization to ensure projects are delivered within scope and budget.
• Quality Assurance: Ensure applications meet quality standards through effective testing, validation, and deployment processes.
• Agile Methodology: Implement and manage Agile or hybrid project management methodologies, such as Scrum or Kanban, to drive iterative development and continuous improvement.
• Vendor Coordination: Manage relationships with third-party vendors or contractors, ensuring deliverables meet project requirements and timelines.
• Documentation: Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including requirements, progress reports, and post-project evaluations.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field. PMP, Scrum Master, or other relevant certifications are a plus.
• Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management, with at least 3 years managing application development or software implementation projects.
• Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with software development lifecycle (SDLC), programming languages, and technologies such as Java, Python, .NET, or cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, etc.).
• Skills: Strong leadership and team management skills, excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with diverse stakeholders, proficiency in project management tools (e.g., Jira, Trello, MS Project, or Asana), ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment, and strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Attributes: Detail-oriented, proactive, and adaptable to changing priorities. Passion for delivering high-quality software solutions.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with enterprise-level application deployments.
• Knowledge of DevOps practices and tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines).
• Background in managing projects in industries such as finance, healthcare, or technology.
