Job Title: Facilities Maintenance Technician (Contract-to-Hire)

Overview
We are seeking a reliable Facilities Maintenance Technician to join our facilities team. This role is ideal for someone with hands-on mechanical and electrical aptitude who enjoys solving problems, keeping facilities in top shape, and working in a team-oriented environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform minor mechanical and electrical repairs across the facility.
- Handle general upkeep tasks such as replacing light bulbs, tightening fixtures, and basic troubleshooting.
- Assist with routine facility cleaning and organization to ensure a safe, efficient work environment.
- Support preventative maintenance activities on equipment and building systems.
- Operate forklifts or other material-handling equipment (if certified).
- Previous maintenance experience, ideally in an apartment complex or industrial facility.
- Basic mechanical and electrical skills.
- Ability to perform light repairs, cleaning, and maintenance tasks independently.
- Forklift experience or certification strongly preferred.
- Strong attention to detail, safety-focused mindset, and dependable work ethic.
