Our client, a global Energy and Industrial Manufacturing leader, is seeking a Project Manager to join their team. As a Project Manager, you will be part of the Project Execution organization supporting Modernization, Upgrade, and Inspection & Repair project teams. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, excellent organizational abilities, and a customer-focused mindset which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Project Manager - Turbine Modernization & Repair
Location: Houston, TX (Onsite)
Pay Range: $30 - $34 per hour
What's the Job?
Manage multiple modernization, upgrade, and inspection/repair projects through execution and warranty phases
Coordinate with Engineering, Design, Supply Chain, and Manufacturing teams to ensure on-time delivery
Track schedules, costs, and performance against project budgets and timelines
Communicate proactively with customers regarding project status and schedule changes
Identify project risks and implement mitigation plans to ensure successful outcomes
What's Needed?
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Engineering, Business, or Project Management
Minimum 5+ years of experience in a Project Manager or Project Lead role
Strong customer-facing communication skills and ability to manage multiple projects
Proficiency in SAP, Microsoft Office, and Microsoft Project
Knowledge of steam turbine design, manufacturing processes, BOMs, and technical drawings
