Job Title

This position ensures that assigned public space including pool deck, parking garage and guest room floors are kept fully stocked and clean to provide support to Guest Room Attendants while maintaining Omni standards and exceeding our guest expectations.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities include:

• Retrieving soiled linen and garbage from guest rooms and disposing of through the linen chute or dumpsters.
• Maintaining hallways, reporting maintenance issues, and special cleaning assignments.
• Delivering guest amenities or special requests to guest rooms.
• Completing daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly projects as assigned.
• Cleaning stairwells, elevators, and hallways free from debris and room service trays.
• Maintaining housekeeping supply storeroom by organizing new supplies and restocking floors.
• Maintaining regular attendance in compliance with Omni standards.
• Maintaining high standards of personal appearance and grooming.
• Daily cleaning and upkeep of pool facility and parking garage.
• Organizing and maintaining lounge chairs.
• Supervising cabanas and towel hut operations.
• Ensuring guest safety by enforcing all rules and assisting guests/members upon request.
• Thoroughly cleaning bathrooms.
• Providing exceptional guest service.
• Attending monthly department meetings and company required training.
• Providing clean pool towels and removing dirty towels.
• Opening and closing umbrellas at the beginning and end of shifts.
• Patrolling pool area and removing all trash.
• Completing other tasks as assigned by management.

Qualifications

Qualifications include:

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to communicate effectively with fellow associates and guests.
• Ability to read and understand daily work assignments.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds on a regular basis.
• Ability to push/pull up to 50 pounds frequently.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
• Ability and willingness to stand for an entire shift, doing repetitive work.
• Ability and willingness to bend, stretch, reach, and push moderate to heavy weight.
• Willingness to work in various weather conditions.
• Comfortable in and around pools.
• Previous housekeeping experience preferred.
• Excellent customer service skills.
