Branch Supervisor
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Security Supervisor to lead a team of approximately 10 security officers. The ideal candidate will maintain a safe and secure environment for our client, Walmart, through effective leadership, vigilant oversight, and proactive communication with internal and external stakeholders. This is a hands-on leadership role that requires flexibility and the ability to step in and perform the duties of a security officer when necessary.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise, train, and manage a crew of approximately 10 security officers. Foster a professional, alert, and cohesive team environment.
- Ensure all security posts are adequately staffed and officers are performing their duties in compliance with company and client policies.
- Conduct weekly meetings with Walmart Asset Protection Investigators (APIs) to discuss security concerns, review incidents, and coordinate strategies.
- Respond promptly to incidents, document events accurately, and provide initial reports to management and clients.
- Perform regular patrols to inspect premises and personnel. Must be prepared and able to fill an officer's shift in their absence (e.g., call-outs, breaks, or vacancies).
- Uphold all local, state, and federal security regulations and licensing requirements.
Required Qualifications & Skills
- Minimum of [Insert #, e.g., 1-2] years of verifiable supervisory experience, preferably within the security, military, or law enforcement sectors.
- Must possess a valid, current, and active State Security Officer License/Guard Card.
- Must possess a valid Driver's License and have a clean driving record.
- Must have your own reliable transportation to ensure dependable arrival at the work site and the ability to travel between potential assigned locations if necessary.
- Must be available to start training immediately (ASAP).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for report writing and client interaction.
- Must be able to stand for long periods, walk patrols, and respond quickly to emergencies.
Compensation
- This is a salary position compensated at an hourly rate of $16.00/hr.
A Signal Branch Patrol Supervisor provides functional leadership to Signal's Community Based Security Officers through the development and implementation of policies and practices essential to the effective management of day-to-day operations. Basic duties include protecting all sites and managing all reporting officers. All duties listed below are minimum requirements, additional site-specific duties may be required.

Responsibilities
- Coach, monitor, and develop accountability for the individual performance of the Advanced Patrol Officer and Patrol Officer's to align with company standards i.e. patrol completion, report writing, etc.
- Leads the Branch Manager Daily Scrum to communicate all service, property, post order, and routing changes.
- Schedules and conducts spot checks with officers under their supervision, providing feedback, accountability, and recognition as needed.
- Promptly and consistently report any client specific information or issues to the Coordinator, while helping to execute and provide resolutions to any client issues or concerns.
- Participate in the hiring process, interviewing candidates, and setting up orientation dates and times. Communicate regularly with the Coordinator throughout the hiring process.
- Responsible for equipment inventory and maintenance including uniforms, vehicles, devices, phones, etc. while communicating needs and issues to their Coordinator.
- Participating in a performance review during recommended time frames with the Coordinator to enhance the Officer Brand Experience.
- Responsible for ensuring schedule is complete to fulfill contracted services and will cover shifts as necessary to ensure completion while minimizing overtime.
- Responsible for recommending and issuing disciplinary action for personnel in violation of the Signal Standard Operating Procedures. Furthermore, providing positive recognition for personnel going above and beyond the Signal expectations.
- Communicate with the Coordinator in the Weekly Coordinator Meeting to review weekly score card, route reviews, operation priorities, and all client related issues.
Requirements
- 21 years of age or older
- High school diploma or GED
- Pass background check and drug test
- Must have valid driver's license and good driving record
- Must have reliable transportation
- Must be able to work all shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Complete training modules within first month
- Excellent organization, oral, and written communication skills
- Demonstrate a commitment to service, organization values and professionalism through appropriate conduct and demeanor at all times
- Must be able to move equipment weighing up to 20 pounds
