Inventory Data Entry Specialist

Pay Rate: $22/hr. Location: Houston, TX 77049 Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm

The successful candidate must have excellent computer skills, be highly proficient in Microsoft Excel and able to analyze inventory data in detail. In addition, the position will involve opening/closing orders in the system, inspecting loads are received or delivered directly, running the facilities inventory, and performing random inventory/cycle counts when required.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Using Excel and other Microsoft office applications, perform inventory data analysis and monitoring.
• Data entry on a continuous daily basis.
• Enter driver/load data into the daily report and direct driver to the right dock or yard
• Check-In all Delivery and Load Pickup Drivers that arrive at warehouse
• Obtain Bill of Lading (BOL) with driver signature on load pickups, scan and save BOL into shared folder by no later than 9am the following day
• For Deliveries, obtain Proof of Delivery (POD), scan and save to shared folder by no later than 9am the following day
• Compare daily report with information in database and physical paperwork (BOL & PODs) to make sure data in all three matches.
• Send daily in and out reports to Warehouse manager and Operation Director by email, no later than next business day 10am.
• Use the final daily report to do receiving and shipping in Warehouse Management System (WMS) and/or CargoWise (CW1), all receiving and shipping should be completed before end of next business day.
• Update tracking reports and upload required document to the shared folder of each project before end of next business day.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 1 year Warehouse Clerk / Data Entry experience
• Must be highly proficient in the use of Excel and other Microsoft Office software applications
• Experience with a Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) is highly preferred
• Experience with CargoWise One (CW1) is preferred.
• High School Diploma or Equivalent

Compensation / Pay Rate (Up to): $22.00 - $22.00 Per Hour
