Job Duties:
Writing the Test Cases and testing the stories that the Squad is working on as per the User requirements
Running Automation Regression Tests on Daily basis on different Environments using JAVA REST API Cucumber Framework;
Generating the Regression end-end Test Case test results and providing the update to the team;
Preparing the Test case Documentation for all the existing features in enhancing the validations;
Help developers with triaging some of the issues at the code level;Assistance in optimizing the Event/REST API frameworks to see where we can reuse the components and make them more efficient;
Diagnose the Rest Assured failures faster;
Write SQL queries, optimize and troubleshoot when needed;
Achieving CI/CD Integration which automatically builds, tests, and integrates code changes with a standard repository and delivers code changes to production-ready environments for approval and deploys the code changes to customers directly;
Establishing a connection to the database JDBC and execute SQL queries, process records present in Database and Integrate TESTNG with JDBC to perform and validate Database Testing;
Following Agile Methodology and Logging the Defects/Bugs using JIRA EPIC;
Involving Daily Status Updates, Weekly meetings and providing the relevant feedback with value added analysis geared towards improving and optimizing the testing strategy.
Requirements:
Master's in Computer Science, Information Technology Management or related field. Must have completed graduate level courses in object-oriented programming, java programming and internet applications, data modelling & implementation techniques, and software project management/team. Must be willing to work at unanticipated locations throughout the United States. 50% travel required.
