Compensation
$20 to $23 per hour to be determined at the time of the interview with our customer.
This is a Permanent position. Our customer is a leading and growing company in the aerospace market that has grown every year since our inception over 20 years ago.
Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
Examine materials and final products, calculates tolerances and dimensions using hand tools, verifies conformance to standards, reads work orders, routers and blueprints to determine product specifications as a part of inspecting products and materials in process and in final inspection
Document / record quality inspection information
Evaluate information to determine whether parts and materials conform to regulations and standards
Maintain current knowledge of organizational policies and procedures, federal and state policies and directives
Analyze data or information
Establish and maintain interpersonal relationships
Evaluate information to determine compliance with standards Professional Skills:
HS diploma or equivalent or equivalent combination of experience/education
4 or more years of related experience required
Intermediate knowledge of mathematics and applications
Basic AS9100 knowledge
Intermediate knowledge of machines and tools, including their designs, uses, repair, and maintenance. This includes Keyence inspection equipment, optical comparators, digital micrometers and calipers, gage pins, ring gages, dial indicators, concentricity gage, thread segments
Intermediate knowledge of design techniques, tools, and principals involved in production of precision technical plans, blueprints (including geometric dimension and tolerancing features), drawings, and models as well as advanced knowledge of geometric dimension tolerancing (GD&T) features Physical Requirements and Working Condition: • Must be able to bend, stoop, kneel, and stand for prolonged periods of time, climb steps, and ladders • Must be able to work at heights utilizing fall protection equipment (man lifts, ladders, and stand) • Must be able to lift up to 45lbs • Subject to environmental conditions -protection from weather conditions but not necessarily from temperature changes • Subject to hazards to include a variety of physical conditions, such as proximity to moving mechanical parts, moving vehicles, electrical current, exposure to high heat or exposure to chemicals • Subject to loud constant noise
Subject to atmospheric conditions such as fumes, odors, dust, mists, gases, or poor ventilation
