Requirements:

• Valid Driver's License - AU Driver Policy Requirements
• 21+ Years of Age
• Level III Armed Certification (Texas Only)
• Access Control/Badge Experience
• Loss Prevention
• 3+ Years' Combined Law Enforcement/Military/Security Experience OR a College Degree (C107)
• Security Experience - 5+ Years
• 2+ Years' Law Enforcement/Military Police/Corrections Experience
• Pay: $22.00 / hour, DailyPay or Weekly Pay Options Available.

As a Security Officer - Armed Mall Patrols in Houston, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As a Patrol Armed Officer with Allied Universal, you will conduct routine patrols within a retail location, helping to deter security-related incidents and providing a visible presence. This is an armed and driving post, where you will interact with the public, respond to incidents, and deliver exceptional customer service. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism throughout.
• Conduct regular and random patrols inside the retail location and around its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify potential issues.
• Maintain awareness of surroundings and report any unusual activity or security-related concerns to the appropriate personnel.
• Interact with the public in a courteous manner while upholding Allied Universal standards and representing the company positively.
• Document incidents and observations according to site and Allied Universal protocols.
• Support access control procedures by verifying credentials and monitoring entry points as required.
• Remain alert and prepared to respond to alarms or requests for assistance throughout the shift.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have 3 or more years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience or possess a college degree.
• Possess an armed guard card or license.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Hold a Level III armed certification if applying in Texas.
• Have 5 or more years of security-related experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
