Role: Senior Automation Engineer
Location: Spring, Texas

Job Summary :
We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Test Engineer with strong experience in Python-based automation and the Robot Framework. The ideal candidate will have hands-on expertise in the BIOS/firmware domain, Azure DevOps pipelines, and Windows system troubleshooting. This role involves designing, developing, and maintaining test automation frameworks, integrating them into CI/CD pipelines, and mentoring junior engineers.

Key Responsibilities :

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test suites using Python and Robot Framework.
• Review and optimize test cases to improve efficiency and reliability.
• Automate BIOS validation workflows and integrate them with CI/CD systems.
• Create and enhance test pipelines using Azure DevOps.
• Integrate automation workflows with CI/CD systems for continuous deployment
• Analyze BIOS and firmware behavior, log test results, and report defects using tracking tools.
• Perform Windows-based troubleshooting, including driver, power state, and hardware-level debugging.
• Collaborate with development and validation teams to define test plans and coverage.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers.
• Lead code reviews and optimization initiatives across automation teams

Education & Technical Skills :

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, IT, or related field.
• Strong programming experience in Python.
• Hands-on experience with test automation frameworks and tools (e.g., Robot Framework, pytest, Selenium, or similar). Ability to assess and improve automation scripts for reliability and maintainability.
• Solid understanding of BIOS/Firmware concepts.
• Proficiency with automation tools (e.g., Python IDEs) and version control systems (e.g., Git) is required.
• Experience with CI/CD platforms (such as Azure Pipelines) for integrating automated tests is highly desirable
• Experience with Windows system internals, device manager, and event logs.
• Experience in Github, Powershell is a plus.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in maintaining detailed documentation for test plans, automation scripts, and QA processes.
• Proven experience in leading and mentoring QA teams across manual and automation domains.
• Skilled in task allocation, team coordination, and fostering collaboration.
• Good to have: Experience with testing frameworks such as pytest, Selenium, or similar - framework knowledge to quickly adapt to new tools.
