Our client, an integrator for industrial automation and control systems, is seeking a dedicated Electrical Controls Engineer Panel Design to join their team. As an Electrical Controls Engineer Panel Design, you will be part of the Engineering Department supporting project development and implementation teams. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong technical skills, problem-solving abilities, and a proactive approach, which will align successfully within the organization.
Job Title:Electrical Controls Engineer Panel Design
Location:Magnolia, Texas
Pay Range:$120,000 - $145,000 Base plus Relo, Benefits, etc.
What's the Job?
- Design and develop electrical control panels in compliance with UL508 standards and UL698A certification.
- Create detailed electrical schematics and wiring diagrams to ensure clarity and accuracy.
- Program, configure, and troubleshoot PLC systems using Siemens and Allen-Bradley technologies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project delivery on time and within scope, providing technical support during installation, commissioning, and maintenance phases.
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Controls Engineering, or a related field.
- UL508 certification is required; UL698A certification is preferred but need experience with both.
- Proven experience in panel design and creating electrical schematics for manufacturing.
- Strong knowledge of Siemens and Allen-Bradley PLCs, including programming and troubleshooting.
- Familiarity with industrial communication protocols such as Ethernet/IP and Profibus.
