Functional Areas of Responsibility

• Accurate quantity take-off

• Cost estimating

• Productivity analysis

• Business partner solicitation

• Development of vendor bid tabs and selection

• Scheduling

Specific Duties and Responsibilities

• Review and analyze project plans and specifications

• Perform quantity take-off as directed

• Preparation of discipline cost estimates

• Assist in solicitation of subcontractor and supplier quotes to assure sufficient coverage of all scopes of work

• Assist in schedule preparation and analysis

Qualifications Required for this Position

Education

• Bachelor's degree in related field (engineering or construction management degree preferred), or equivalent experience

Experience

• Basic knowledge of construction documents, construction techniques, and equipment capabilities

• High degree of accuracy with work product and calculations

• Computer skills, including Microsoft Office

• Oral and written communication skills
