Key Responsibilities of the Senior Accountant:
Maintain the general ledger and prepare journal entries, analyses, and account reconciliations.
Handle Job Costing, Work in Progress (WIP), and Percentage of Completion (POC) accounting for project-based operations.
Prepare accurate and timely financial reports.
Assist with month-end close activities, including reviewing journal entries and reconciliations.
Ensure compliance with organizational and financial regulations.
Support management with budgeting, financial statement preparation, and other ad hoc projects.
Senior Accountant Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required.
3-5+ years of progressive accounting experience, ideally in WIP, Job Costing, or POC environments.
Strong Excel skills and familiarity with accounting software (MS Dynamics 365 Business Central preferred).
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational abilities.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
