What You'll Do:
+ Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at the chemical or petrochemical location.
+ Monitor access points to help to deter unauthorized entry and verify credentials of personnel and visitors in accordance with site protocols.
+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, coordinating with site personnel as needed.
+ Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter to help to deter potential security-related threats or suspicious activities.
+ Maintain accurate records and logs of daily activities, incidents, and access control procedures as required by Allied Universal and site management.
+ Communicate professionally with clients, visitors, and staff to address inquiries and provide assistance as needed.
Minimum Requirements:
+ A Transportation Worker Identification Credential issued by the Transportation Security Administration is required.
+ A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
