Level III Armed Certification (Texas Only)

Access Control/Badge Experience

Loss Prevention

3+ Years' Combined Law Enforcement/Military/Security Experience OR a College Degree (C107)

2+ Years' Law Enforcement/Military Police/Corrections Experience

As a Patrol Armed Officer with Allied Universal, you will help to deter security-related incidents by conducting routine armed patrols throughout retail and mall locations. You will remain highly visible to provide a reassuring presence, respond to incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service. This role requires driving as part of your patrol duties. What You'll Do:

+ Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at retail locations.

+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, utilizing armed security-related protocols as needed.

+ Conduct regular and random patrols around the retail environment and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity.

+ Monitor entrances, exits, and high-traffic areas to help to deter theft, loss, or other unwanted incidents.

+ Work closely with store personnel and/or management to address security-related concerns and support a secure shopping experience for staff and customers.

+ Document and report incidents, observations, and/or suspicious activity according to Allied Universal and client guidelines.

+ Remain alert and prepared to respond to emergencies or incidents, adapting to the dynamic environment of a retail location.

Minimum Requirements:

+ Have 5 or more years of security-related experience.

+ Have 3 or more years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience or possess a college degree.

+ Possess an armed guard card or license.

+ Hold a Level III armed certification if applying in Texas.

+ A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.

+ Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Participate in industry-specific security training programs.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

+ A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
