Storage Technical Solutions Consultant
This role has been designed as 'Hybrid' with an expectation that you will work on average 2 days per week from an HPE office.

Role and Responsibilities
- Remote Hardware/Software Phone and Electronic Support
- Admin level OS knowledge; Vmware, Unix Systems (Solaris, HP, AIX, Linux) and Windows
- Resolution of complex hardware and software issues related to Storage, SAN and Hosts
- Real time remote system review along with detailed diagnostic log review
- Coordination of onsite repair
- Product defect and compatibility identification and duplication
- Elevation management including coordination with Engineering and Product development teams
- Technical documentation in CRM and Knowledge Base tools
- Knowledge sharing which will include Training, Mentoring and Collaboration with peer support groups
- Partnering with Sales Pursuit teams in identification of revenue opportunities
- Proactively assist customer in avoiding problem reoccurrence
- Flexibility in working hours
Knowledge and Skill
- Knowledge of Enterprise Storage systems, Storage Area Networks, Network Attached Storage environments and/or Backup Systems and software
- Experience with Fiber Channel, Brocade or Cisco Fabric switches and HBA
- Highly developed verbal and written communication skills
- Highly developed organization skills with the ability to multitask.
- Experience in troubleshooting in a technical environment.
- Excellent analytical and problem solving skills.
- Software and hardware knowledge of computing, storage and peripheral devices.
- Superior customer service skills used in the delivery of remote support.
Education and Experience
- Bachelor of Science or Technical Degree with relevant technical experience
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant working experience in similar technologies
- Minimum of 3 years working with enterprise level, mission critical customers with complex environments
