Mid-Shift Part-Time Custodian II - Health and Wellness Non-Store Operations

Walmart Central Fill Pharmacy is a specialized type of pharmacy that focuses on processing and dispensing of prescriptions for multiple retail pharmacy locations within a region. Unlike a traditional pharmacy, Central Fill is full of automation allowing prescriptions to be filled fast and accurately. But the best part of Central Fill pharmacy is taking care of our patients in the community. While we are not patient facing, our job provides retail pharmacies the ability to spend much deserved time providing clinical services and education to the communities they serve. We are hiring a Custodian for our Spring, TX - Health and Wellness Non-Store Operations facility. This position requires you to work onsite.

Salary: $15.20/Hr., plus $2.00/Hr. differential for the 2nd shift.

Job Duties

• Assists in facility support by setting up rooms for special events performing minor maintenance and repair activities, collecting and transporting recyclables disassembling and cleaning drug dispensers and reporting facility issues for example roof leaks power outages to management.
• Ensures clean and sanitary facilities for example offices, restrooms, conference rooms, lobbies, elevators, parking lots, according to company safety procedures and guidelines and federal state and local laws and regulations, for example Occupational Safety and Health Administration OSHA regulations, by wearing personal protective equipment.
• Emptying, waste receptacles, and recycle bins, dusting, sweeping and wet mopping, stripping and waxing floors, cleaning and sanitizing bathrooms and showers, vacuuming and spot cleaning carpets, cleaning electronic devices for example microwaves, windows, air conditioner, ducts and ceiling tiles and identifying and reacting to additional cleaning needs.
• Complies with company policies procedures and standards of ethics and integrity by implementing related action plans using the Open Door Policy and applying these in executing business processes and practices.
• Completes work assignments and priorities by using policies data and resources collaborating with managers coworkers, customers and other business partners identifying priorities deadlines and expectations, carrying out tasks, communicating progress and information, determining and recommending ways to address improvement, opportunities and adapting to and learning from change difficulties and feedback.
