Tool Crib Specialist

Come join our team of talented professionals at Lincoln Tech. We are seeking a responsible Tool Crib Specialist, who will oversee the inventory and general upkeep. You would keep an inventory of all tools and make sure that safety regulations are followed.

Responsibilities of a Tool Crib Specialist:

• Secure all of the contents of the shop at the beginning and at the end of the shift
• Perform a walk-through of the shop at the beginning and end of each shift, making sure that all contents are clean and secure
• Distribute tools and other items, based on the school guidelines
• Check equipment back in, ensuring that all accessories checked out with auxiliary equipment (cables, adaptors, power supplies, chips, keys, extension cords, etc.) are accounted for
• Keep the consumable supplies stocked
• Advise the supervisor of needed materials
• Complete a regular inventory of the tool room in a written report

Requirements of a Tool Crib Specialist:

• High school diploma or GED
• Attention to detail, a sense of urgency, and a passion for quality
• Functional knowledge of Microsoft Excel
