Job description:
- Determines quality improvement parameters by identifying statistical methods relevant to manufacturing processes.
- Establishes statistical confidence by identifying sample size and acceptable error, and determining levels of confidence.
- Responsible for the calibration of the company's monitoring and measuring instruments, ensuring that the status of the monitoring and measuring instruments is proper and continuously effective.
- Specify the production format of various documents, so the documents of the management system of each unit can be formulated according to the format and the documents can be unified.
- Complete various commissioned tests and routine reliability tests for mass-produced products.
- Prepares reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing data; and making recommendations.
- Ensures products adhere to company and industry quality standards.
- Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
Requirements:
- Associate or Bachelor degree in engineering or equivalent discipline or equivalent work experience is required.
- Minimum of 2-3 years in a manufacturing environment preferred a plus.
- Root cause analysis experience preferred.
- Above average math skills (sound knowledge in both statistics and calculus).
- Good knowledge of manufacturing processes.
- Coordination and performance of internal process/product audits.
- Ability to read and interpret assembly and component drawings and engineering specifications.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Strong communication, comprehension and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Ability to identify and escalate problems.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office software, particularly Excel and Word.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
