Production Supervisor

Job Summary:

The Production Supervisor coordinates daily manufacturing operations by leading production teams to meet established SOPs, output, cost, quality, and waste-reduction targets. This role ensures efficient use of labor, materials, and equipment by monitoring production flow and making real-time adjustments as needed. The Supervisor oversees quality and quantity of output while enforcing safety standards and ensuring all equipment is operated properly to support consistent, on-time production.

As a Production Supervisor, You Will:

• Enforce all plant safety objectives, policies, and procedures with zero tolerance for shortcuts
• Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free production floor through proactive safety management
• Investigate workplace incidents and implement corrective and preventive actions to reduce recurrence
• Oversee recruitment, onboarding, training, and performance evaluations for production staff
• Ensure full compliance with OSHA regulations and immediately address and report safety concerns
• Build a collaborative, accountable team culture that supports operational and performance goals
• Meet or exceed established quality standards and production targetsno excuses, just results
• Manage labor efficiently to meet or outperform labor cost objectives
• Monitor employee performance, conduct regular reviews, and provide hands-on coaching and development
• Administer disciplinary actions consistently and in accordance with company policies
• Track attendance, review time-off requests, and ensure accurate approval of timecards
• Support production operations directly, including working on the line when needed to keep things moving
• Prepare, analyze, and report production metrics to identify issues and drive continuous improvement
• Perform additional duties as assigned to support overall plant operations

Skills and Requirements:

• 5-7 years of experience in a manufacturing production environment; injection molding, concrete, assembly, or chemical production strongly preferred
• 3-5 years of experience operating complex machinery while providing frontline leadership to production teams
• Hands-on experience across multiple areas of the production line; prior experience within company job levels or progression paths preferred
• Strong mechanical aptitude with solid mathematical and problem-solving skills
• Proven ability to perform effectively in fast-paced, high-volume manufacturing environments without sacrificing safety or quality
• Demonstrated experience safely and efficiently operating complex and potentially hazardous equipment

Education:

• High School Diploma or GED required
