Junior Civil Structural Engineer (EIT) Job Summary:

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Civil Structural Engineer (EIT) to join our dedicated engineering team. This entry-level role offers an excellent opportunity for recent graduates to gain hands-on experience in structural analysis and design within the offshore oil and gas industry. Junior Civil Structural Engineer (EIT) Responsibilities:

  • Utilize structural analysis software to model offshore structures based on original design drawings.
  • Apply loadings, perform detailed analysis, and ensure structural integrity and compliance.
  • Coordinate with drafting teams to produce accurate construction drawings.
  • Prepare engineering reports, calculations, and permits to support project execution.
  • Conduct site visits to onshore and offshore facilities, documenting findings and assisting with site assessments.
Junior Civil Structural Engineer (EIT) Position Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited university.
  • Engineer-in-Training (EIT) registration and a recent pass of the Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) exam.
  • Proficiency in structural analysis software.
  • Basic knowledge of steel design and statics.
  • Familiarity with AutoCAD.
  • Ability to work well within a team environment and communicate effectively.
  • Eligibility to work in the United States without sponsorship.
  • Willingness to pass pre-employment drug screening and obtain HUET certification if necessary.
  • Ability to relocate and commute to the designated office location.
