* Minimum of two years of administrative support experience in higher education or related field.
* Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
* Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including drafting professional correspondence.
* Experience working in a higher education environment, with familiarity with university systems and organizational structure. Preferred Qualifications * Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.
* Experience with event planning. Job Description This position is grant funded and will support the operation of the Center of Research Excellence in Science and Technology (CREST) grant. Job Duties * Maintain and update web and social media accounts associated with the program
* Deliver excellent customer service by answering and screening incoming calls, greeting visitors, and responding to inquiries from staff, faculty, students, and guests with accurate information.
* Prepare, compose, type, and proofread accurate and timely reports, correspondence, meeting minutes, spreadsheets, and other required documents.
* Maintain and review files for completeness and compliance.
* Monitor deadlines for assignments and projects to ensure timely completion.
* Submit purchasing requests, monitor receiving, and confirm delivery for grant related purposes.
* Perform other duties as assigned to support the office and organizational objectives.
