Shop Hand

Pay Rate: $15/hr

Location: Houston, TX 77039

Schedule: 8AM to 5PM, M-F

We are seeking a Shop Hand to join a growing industrial firm in North Houston. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working with their hands, fast paced environments, is mechanically inclined, and wants to learn and grow in the fabrication trade.

Responsibilities:

• Operate hand tools and power tools (grinders, wire wheels, drills, bandsaw, etc.)
• Cutting material
• Prepare materials and clean parts
• Help move and position metal components
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Follow safety guidelines and shop procedures
• Operate Forklift

Qualifications:

• Experience with tools is required
• Must be dependable and willing to learn
• Ability to lift and move heavy materials
• Strong work ethic and positive attitude
• Safety-minded and team-oriented
• Ability to handle physical workload
