We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Store Receiver to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing all back room operations, ensuring that incoming and outgoing freight shipments are handled with accuracy and speed. Collaborating closely with other departments, you will help ensure that products are merchandised according to company standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Embrace and promote the Cavender's Culture while driving our Mission, Vision, and Values.
• Efficiently receive and stock merchandise, maximizing productivity.
• Accurately process electronic purchase orders and match them to vendor packing slips, documenting any discrepancies.
• Handle electronic transfer documents with precision and note any inconsistencies.
• Perform weekly maintenance on barcode ticket printers and print necessary tags.
• Accurately tag merchandise using the appropriate tools and supplies.
• Inspect footwear for defects and ensure proper mating.
• Organize and maintain back stock and returns to vendors efficiently.
• Manage special order merchandise and maintain an organized back room at all times.
• File and oversee documentation flow, reporting any issues to management.
• Train stockers on the necessary procedures and duties.
• Work collaboratively with supervisors to achieve company goals.

Qualifications:

• Ability to lift, lower, and carry objects weighing up to 50 lbs regularly.
• Capability to comprehend basic instructions and interpret various documents.
• Strong reading and comprehension skills in English.
• Ability to stay alert and consistently perform tasks during assigned hours.
