Customer Service Representative

Pay: $23.50/hr.

Shift: Monday Friday 8am to 5pm with overtime as needed

Position Summary:

This position is classified as essential personnel. The individual holding this position will be required to work as required in preparation for prolonged emergency operations and/or during recovery from prolonged emergency operations as directed by supervisor/manager.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage inbound calls and emails; respond to customer inquiries professionally and promptly.
  • Create and process service orders for move-ins and move-outs using Water Smart software.
  • Process customer payments accurately and follow company procedures.
  • Sort and distribute incoming mail; maintain organized files through scanning and shredding.
  • Assist customers using website; prepare customer forms and handouts.
  • Provide backup support for Operations, including assisting with required reports.
  • Attend department meetings and perform additional duties as assigned.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • 1 year of customer service experience preferred; billing experience a plus.
  • Valid Texas drivers license with insurable driving record.
  • Strong customer focus, communication, teamwork, and attention to detail.
  • Ability to follow directions, manage time, and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Initiative, reliability, and commitment to safety.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word).
