Position: Line Cook

Overview:
As a Line Cook, you will play a key role in delivering exceptional dining experiences by preparing high-quality dishes that align with our recipes and standards. We are looking for someone passionate about food, committed to cleanliness, and who thrives in a fast-paced kitchen environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure all ingredients and equipment are prepped and ready for service to streamline food preparation.
  • Food Preparation: Follow company recipes and procedures to prepare dishes with fresh, high-quality ingredients.
  • Safety & Hygiene: Adhere to food safety guidelines to prevent contamination. Wash hands regularly and maintain cleanliness throughout your shift.
  • Organization: Keep your workstation clean, organized, and stocked with necessary ingredients, practicing FIFO (First In, First Out) to minimize waste.
  • Ingredient Management: Notify the Kitchen Manager (KM) when ingredients are running low or need replenishment.
  • Teamwork: Collaborate with fellow cooks and kitchen staff to ensure smooth kitchen operations and deliver quality meals to customers.
  • Personal Appearance: Maintain a neat and professional appearance, including a clean uniform at all times.

Requirements:
  • Passion for cooking and providing excellent customer experiences.
  • Ability to read and follow recipes and kitchen procedures.
  • Competence in basic arithmetic and unit conversions for ingredient measurements.
  • Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team.
  • Adherence to industry hygiene and safety standards.
  • Necessary certifications for food handling and safety.
  • Clear communication with team members and Kitchen Manager (KM).

Additional Expectations:
  • Report any health issues that might affect food handling to the KM immediately.
  • Help with additional tasks as directed by the KM to ensure smooth kitchen operations.
