Painter Helper

Pay: $15/hr.

First Shift

Responsibilities:

• Assures products are clean and prepared for paint and applies required coatings to meet specifications and product quality finishes on products in a safe and efficient manner.
• Clean and prepare machined castings for paint and apply required coatings to meet specifications and product quality in a safe and efficient manner.
• Learn safe and proper operations of machine shop equipment, including driving forklifts.
• Maintain a safe and organized work area at all times.
• Work overtime as required.

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or GED
• Ability to work in bending, squatting and standing positions (includes working off ladders) for long periods of time (in excess of 1 hour)
• Ability to speak, read and write fluently in English and follow written and oral instructions.
