Fitness Attendant

Location: The Woodlands Country Club

Reports To: Director of Fitness and Gym Manager

Responsibilities:

• Greets members in a cheerful and welcoming manner. Building professional and positive relationships with all members and guests of the country club.
• Maintains a general knowledge and understanding of membership and guest privileges at the club. Knowledgeable of all club events, operations, and activities. Answers questions regarding the club. Informs and educates members on the rules, regulations, and policies of the club.
• Presents an enthusiastic, friendly, and positive attitude. Has an outgoing personality and communication skills. Must be a team player, cooperative, and willing to participate in any given task or activity.
• Responsible for completing daily shift duties. Restock items as needed. Adheres to all sanitation and cleaning protocols to keep the facility clean and orderly.
• Basic knowledge and understanding of the offered fitness equipment.
• Keeps management informed of problems and provides feedback from members.
• Recognizes and responds effectively and efficiently to all unsafe conditions or emergencies.
• Work various shift hours of opening, midday, closing, and weekends as needed.
• Punctual to all shifts and wears the designated uniform while at work.
• Attends all required meetings.

Ideal Candidate:

• Ability to work flexible hours with a focus on weekday evenings. Also includes weekends and holidays.
• Feel comfortable engaging with members and answering questions about the equipment.
• Previous experience in a fitness facility, hospitality, or customer-facing environment.
• CPR/AED training and certification recommended but not required.
• Excellent customer service and communication abilities.
• Friendly and outgoing personality with a positive attitude.
