Description:

Clayton Services is searching for an Office Support Clerk to join a thriving tax return company in Houston. The Office Support Clerk will be responsible for entering client profile information, organizing documents, and supporting the administrative team during the busy tax season.

Job Type: Temporary (December through April)
Pay Rate: $16.00/hour
Benefits: Medical once eligible
Work Schedule: Monday-Friday, 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm & Saturday, 8:30 am to 1:00 pm

Office Support Clerk Responsibilities:

  • Accurately enter customer profile information into the company's system.
  • Review documents for completeness and ensure all required information is collected.
  • Organize, file, and maintain confidential tax documents.
  • Assist with scanning, copying, and uploading client records.
  • Support office staff with general administrative tasks during high-volume periods.
  • Maintain an organized workspace and contribute to efficient office operations.
  • Follow company procedures and uphold confidentiality when handling sensitive client information.
  • Perform additional clerical duties as assigned by management.
Office Support Clerk Skills and Abilities:
  • Strong data entry skills with high accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Basic computer proficiency, including email and data entry software.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
  • Dependable, punctual, and able to work the required schedule.
Office Support Clerk Education and Experience:
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Previous office support, clerical, or administrative experience is required.
  • Experience handling confidential documents is a plus.
