Clayton Services is searching for an Expeditor to join a thriving company in Northwest Houston.

Job Type: Direct Hire
Pay Rate: $60,000-$70,000/year

Expeditor Responsibilities:

• Monitor and track purchase orders to ensure suppliers meet delivery schedules
• Identify and address potential delays, working with vendors to expedite shipments.
• Coordinate with logistics providers to optimize transportation and resolve shipping issues.
• Receive shipments of materials and examine deliveries to ensure accuracy
• Provide status updates to project managers and the procurement department on material availability
• Ensure timely turnaround of goods
• Facilitate the flow of materials between departments and parties
• Address supply chain disruptions and take corrective actions
• Collaborate with management to assess supplier and vendor reliability
• Maintain accurate records
• Ensure compliance with industry regulations and company policies
• Identify areas of improvement
• Other duties as assigned

• 5+ years of experience in expediting, procurement, or supply chain within the material handling, industrial equipment, or manufacturing industries.
• Previous experience managing supply chain and project schedules.
