Job Details

The Painter is primarily responsible for painting and refinishing lighting fixtures. This role ensures all products are finished to the highest quality standards by applying appropriate techniques, materials, and finishes. The Painter plays a key role in maintaining product consistency, durability, and appearance, while also ensuring safety, efficiency, and cleanliness throughout the process.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare products to ensure proper adhesion and finish by degreasing, cleaning, and removing dirt, oils, or other foreign substances.
• Apply leafing, patinas, or other specialty materials to create unique finishes as required.
• Use power tools and spray equipment to paint and refinish lighting fixtures, following all technical specifications
• Visually inspect products at each stage of the refinishing process to confirm quality standards are met.
• Always maintain the highest standards of safety and cleanliness within the work area.
• Perform routine cleaning and maintenance of tools, spray booths, and equipment to ensure functionality and longevity.
• Wear and properly use all required personal protective equipment (PPE) consistently.
• Assist with other duties in the finishing process as assigned.

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• Strong basic math skills
• Experience in a distribution or warehouse environment
• Proven ability to work effectively in a team setting
• Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
• Strong retention skills with the ability to follow procedures and instructions
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Compensation Range: $16.75 - $17.25 per hour
