Job Title: Community Center Clerk

Hourly Pay Rate: $20.50

Shift Hours: Monday - Friday (10:00am - 2:00pm)

Job Description

• Serve meals to senior participants in a respectful and timely manner
• Clean and maintain the kitchen, dining, and other Community Center spaces
• Answer telephones and direct calls as needed
• Coordinate with Community Center staff and community partners to ensure smooth meal service operations
• Properly dispose of food waste, garbage, and related materials in accordance with health and safety regulations
• Assist the Senior Service Coordinator with various tasks as needed
• Support the meal service sign-in process and help track participant attendance

After receiving a conditional offer of employment, applicant must pass a drug screen (1/2 cost = $20.00, responsibility of applicant) and may need a physical agility test (1/2 cost = $22.50, responsibility of applicant) before becoming an employee of Montgomery County.
