A Day In The Life
The Lead, Compliance& Ethics, Public Affairs and Philanthropy will be a vital member of the TFG Compliance and Ethics Department and will report to the Chief Global Compliance Officer. The role will also play a key role in supporting the TFG Public Affairs and Philanthropy team and have a dotted line to the Director, Public Affairs and Philanthropy. The Lead will work with the other members of the Compliance and Ethics Department to implement TFG's Business Conduct Program across TFG and to drive the development of compliance and ethics programs at the other companies in the TFG Enterprise. The Lead will also support the TFG's efforts to maintain compliance with regulations, manage public affairs initiatives, and assist with corporate philanthropy efforts which will contribute to the positive public image and social responsibility of the organization.

As a Lead, Compliance& Ethics, Public Affairs and Philanthropy you will:

• Assist in building and improving the organization's ethical culture and compliance program with applicable laws, regulations, and internal policies. Work to improve compliance activities of TFG in key areas in coordination with supporting functions and internal network of compliance ambassadors.
• Assist in creation and improvement of compliance communications and training. Develop strategies and facilitate the execution with internal stakeholders. May require writing and developing the content for internal communications and online/in-person curriculum.
• Assist with maintaining and improving the Code of Business Conduct and underlying policies and procedures for TFG business entities.
• Maintain and improve function of systems, such as helpline, policy management and due diligence tools, used by Compliance and Ethics Department. Prepare reports and presentations based on activities of Compliance and Ethics Department and data maintained in various compliance systems.
• Support public affairs strategies, including monitoring legislative and regulatory developments that may impact the organization; preparation of communications materials such as one-pagers, reports, and presentations; representing the organization at public events, hearings and meetings.
• Managing and tracking payment requests, preparing and submitting regulatory reports, conducting legislative tracking and reporting, managing PAC contributions and tracking and PAC solicitation support.
• Help manage corporate giving programs and initiatives. Coordinate philanthropic events and community engagement activities. Assist with grant applications, proposals and reporting. Manage payment requests and vendor setup with other TFG departments. Organizing events and campaigns to promote our philanthropic efforts. Manage, maintain and update databases used for philanthropic activities.
• Maintain accurate records for compliance, public affairs, and philanthropy-related activities. Ensure that all documentation is up to date and accessible.
• Conduct research on compliance regulations, industry trends, and best practices for public affairs and philanthropy.
• Assist in coordinating internal and external meetings and events, liaising with other departments and stakeholders, and correspondence with grantees, vendors and volunteers as needed.
• Assist during internal investigations, if requested.
• Provide administrative support to the Compliance, Public Affairs, and Philanthropy teams, including scheduling, filing, and communication with vendors or partners.

What We Need From You

• Bachelor's Degree Req
• 4-6 years experience in Compliance, Public Affairs, Business Administration, Law, Communications, or related field (or equivalent experience). Required
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Detail-oriented and able to handle confidential information responsibly.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
• Knowledge of Salesforce and/or Navex compliance tools is a plus
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks.
• Ability to navigate complex regulatory environments
• Strong personal skills to build meaningful relationships with diverse stakeholders
• A strong commitment to ethical conduct and compliance with company policies and legal standards. (High proficiency)

Physical and Environmental RequirementsThe physical requirements described here are representative of those that must be met by an associate to successfully perform the essential functions of the job. While performing the duties of the job, the associate is required on a daily basis to analyze and interpret data, communicate, and remain in a stationary position for a significant amount of the work day and frequently access, input, and retrieve information from the computer and other office productivity devices. The associate is regularly required to move about the office and around the corporate campus. The associate must frequently move up to 10 pounds and occasionally move up to 25 pounds.
