As the Associate Director, Partner Alliances, your primary responsibility is to manage and provide strategic guidance to the Partner Alliances team, ensuring revenue generation via CPA relationships and strategic alliances across the United States. You will be responsible for you and your team's training, development and individual/team sales performance. Further, you will develop and nurture the sales strategy needed to earn and build market share in these prospect channels.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the ABGI USA Partner Alliances sales team.
- Own the national revenue strategy for the Partner Alliances sales channel – pipeline forecasting, performance management, and market expansion in partnership with Practice Leaders.
- Drive new partner and client acquisition through direct sales, strategic partnerships, and referral relationships.
- Serve as a senior presence with CPAs and alliance partners, building long-term, trust-based partnerships.
- Conduct and attend webinars, trade shows, in-person meetings, and sales calls with CPA partners, strategic partners, and direct business owners
- Collaborate with marketing to shape campaigns, webinars, and conference strategies aligned with growth goals.
- Define and refine sales processes, develop sales enablement tools, and implement focused performance KPIs.
- Partner with executive leadership to shape agreement terms, service offerings and cross-sell initiatives.
- Analyze market trends, client feedback, and competitive positioning to inform strategy and drive innovation.
Are We a Match? (Basic Qualifications)
- 5+ years of progressive sales experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership role—preferably in consulting, tax advisory, or professional services.
- Proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales goals in a high-growth, client-centric environment.
- Strong business acumen and the ability to engage with CPA, finance, HR, and C-level decision makers.
- Experience managing teams, coaching individual contributors, and driving performance through KPIs.
- Proficiency in CRM systems (Salesforce preferred), sales outreach tools, and sales analytics dashboards.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills with the ability to build trust and close deals.
- Bachelor's degree required; MBA or equivalent leadership training is a plus.
Extra Credit Goes To...
- Experience selling to CPA firms, AEC and Real Estate industry or mid-market to enterprise business leaders.
- Knowledge of various tax incentives (incl. R&D tax credits, 179D, cost segregation, energy-based incentives) and talent/recruiting services.
- Existing network within the finance, accounting, or consulting ecosystem.
- Previous experience scaling a sales team with a national footprint.
