Role Overview:

As the Ventures and Strategy Director, you'll work closely with the EVP of Finance, Strategy, Partnership, M&A, and Carbon Markets of Eliminini to:

• Develop Eliminini's strategy to help achieve Drax Group's goals.
• Support partnership development to achieve the company's objectives.

This includes identifying, negotiating, forming, developing, and managing long-term partnerships to support Eliminini's objectives. You'll seek input from legal, finance, and tax teams to structure partnerships effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop the Eliminini strategy to support its objectives and ensure alignment with Drax Group's corporate framework, acting as the key contact for the Drax Strategy team.
• Lead the identification, negotiation, formation, and management of partnerships, including T&S and equity partnerships.
• Identify potential strategic and financial partnership targets supporting Eliminini's goals.
• Manage all aspects of negotiations with potential partners, coordinating with legal, development, M&A, and finance teams.
• Support the EVP with financial analysis of potential projects and present findings to senior leadership for approvals.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Significant experience in a corporate or commercial environment within the energy sector, with relevant professional qualifications.
• Proven experience negotiating complex commercial agreements and managing joint venture relationships in energy infrastructure projects.
• Ability to secure funding and present information effectively to stakeholders at all levels.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, adaptable to various audiences.
