Job Title: Full Charge Bookkeeper

Location: The Woodlands, TX

Salary: $60K - 70K DOE

Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and reliable Bookkeeper to manage day-to-day financial transactions and maintain accurate financial records. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, proficient in accounting software, and capable of working independently. The ideal candidate will also have experience with SOP development.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate financial records and general ledgers
• Process accounts payable and accounts receivable
• Prepare and send invoices, process payments
• Handle payroll processing and reporting
• Reconcile bank and credit card statements
• Assist with monthly and year-end financial reporting
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal policies
• Communicate with vendors, clients, and internal staff regarding financial matters

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or in a similar accounting role
• Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, Xero, or similar
• Solid understanding of accounting principles and best practices
• High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
• Ability to meet deadlines and work independently
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Google Workspace tools
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required
• Experience with industrial services industry
• Familiarity with tax preparation and payroll compliance preferred
