Logistics Assistant. Monday thru Friday 8 am to 5 pm. Pay: $21-$24/hr. Temp to Hire Logistics Assistant Responsibilities. Provide clerical and administrative support for sales and logistics, including creating spreadsheets, reports, and correspondence. Process freight billing in SAP. Schedule shipments, get trucking quotes, arrange pickups/deliveries, and monitor costs and timelines. Check international shipping documents for accuracy and create proformas for customs. Review and code vendor invoices for payment. Answer phone calls, handle customer inquiries and complaints, maintain files, and track billing activities. Handle domestic freight claims, analyze rates, and support freight requests from other departments. Perform other administrative and logistics tasks as needed. Logistics Assistant Requirements. High school diploma or equivalent. Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel, able to follow written and verbal instructions, prioritize tasks, and work in a fast-paced environment.
