This summer the Harris County Houston Sports Authority is hosting the 2025 AAU Junior Olympic Games. This event will bring over 15,000 youth athletes to Harris County from July 23 - Aug 2. We will be hosting 15 different sports ranging from gymnastics to track and field to fencing.

We are looking for volunteers in all areas to help us put on an unforgettable event, and we think your organization would be a great fit. Volunteers must be 15 or older, and no special skills or experience are needed. Possible responsibilities include taking photographs, checking in guests, monitoring competitions, posting scores, and much more! Volunteers are required to register for a minimum of two shifts.

We will be offering a variety of different shifts at 3 different venues throughout Harris County.

• George R Brown Convention Center
• Cy-Fair Natatorium
• George Turner Stadium

Note:

This is an unpaid position; however, HCHSA is willing to sign off on any school or volunteer hours needed.

• All those who volunteer will receive a HCHSA T-shirt and lunch will be provided.
• Transportation and lodging will NOT be provided by HCHSA, all those who volunteer must arrange their own transportation.
• Volunteers would preferably be from Harris, Montgomery, Fort Bend, and/or Brazoria County.
• All volunteers must pass a background check
