We have an opening for a Payroll & Administrative Assistant and as a member of this team you would be responsible for ensuring that all payroll functions for the organization are carried out in a timely manner to ensure compliance. You will work in our Houston office as a member of our Dream Team office, Monday through Friday as a full-time salaried employee.

BASIC RESPONSIBILITIES WOULD INCLUDE BUT NOT LIMITED TO:

Payroll

  • Enter New Hires into the Payroll System Accurately and Promptly
  • Processing Timesheets & Payroll for Organization
  • Maintaining Employee Records Up to Date
  • Perform administrative duties related to the processing of payroll, including verifying employment history, reporting, unemployment processing, filling, and detailing record keeping.
  • Submitting garnishment, child support orders, loans, tax levies and all tax notices to Paycor for processing.
  • Commitments to Payroll Best Practices & Regulations including knowledge of payroll/regulations
  • Support Restaurant Leadership Teams through weekly and/or Monthly Tracking of Various Targets

Insurance & Claims

  • Report & Manage Guest-Related Insurance Claims
  • Report & follow up on Employee-Related Claims

Administrative

  • Providing general administrative support, including filing, typing, and copying
  • Answering phone calls, scheduling meetings, and supporting visitors
  • Manage Office Supply Orders and Restocking Needs
  • Other Basic Clerical Duties as Assigned

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL POSSESS:

  • A positive, upbeat attitude with strong self-motivation and the ability to stay on task without constant supervision
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to manage and organize multiple workstreams effectively
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 applications and Adobe Acrobat DC Standard
  • Familiarity with standard office equipment (printers, scanners, phones, etc.)
  • Excellent attention to detail and a consistent commitment to following company policies and procedures

Must be 18 or older

Must be authorized to legally work in the United States.

Must pass a criminal background check
