National Wire LLC is a leading welded wire manufacturer based inConroe, Texas. With a strong focus on equipment reliability, safety, and operational uptime, we are seeking a Maintenance Manager to oversee the maintenance strategy across our facilities, ensure optimal performance of all machinery, and lead initiatives to improve equipment availability and reduce downtime.


Summary

The maintenance manager will be responsible for developing, implementing, and overseeing maintenance programs, ensuring that all equipment, systems, and facilities operate at peak efficiency.


Key Accountabilities

  • Operational Maintenance (Equipment, Tools and Forklifts): Ensure that the manufacturing equipment is ready and operational in daily basis.
  • Preventive Maintenance: Ensure maintenance that is proactively performed on an asset with the goal of lessening the likelihood of failure, reducing unexpected downtime, and prolonging its useful life.
  • Predictive Maintenance: Uses data analysis to predict when equipment failures might occur, allowing for timely repairs before breakdowns happen.
  • Facilities Maintenance and Housekeeping: Upkeeps facilities into a functional environment including services, utilities, grounds, and building structures.
  • Maintenance System: Ensure the company has and effectively utilize maintenance management software.
  • Budgeting: Develops annual maintenance budgets within financial operation budget.
  • Safety: Ensure safely execution of any maintenance activity.
  • Broad Leadership: Implement maintenance initiatives across all company departments.
  • Depth Leadership: Ensures maintenance department clear objectives and expectations across all team members. Provides maintenance team members knowledge and resources to properly perform their daily duties.
  • Company Values: Responsible for conducting his/her day-to-day actions by using National Wire's Values.


Knowledge and Skills Required

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, industrial engineering, electrical engineering, or a related technical field (MUST). Industry certifications such as Certified Maintenance & Reliability Professional (CMRP) or Certified Industrial Maintenance Manager (CIMM) are a plus (Preferred).
  • Experience: 5+ years of experience in maintenance management within a manufacturing or industrial setting. Proved hands-on experience on implementing preventive and predictive maintenance. Experience in forecasting and managing maintenance budgets. (MUST)
  • Leadership: 5 years in a managerial or leadership position, leading maintenance teams and maintenance initiatives across multiple departments. Experience training and coaching personnel at all levels on quality and operational standards.
  • Technology: Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and hands-on experience on CMMS.
  • Languages: Bilingual English Spanish (MUST)
  • Physical requirements: Able to stand long periods of time and travel occasionally within US.


Salary: 100k/yearly
