GENERAL FUNCTION

At Target Optical, we live to make our Guests Happy by making it simple and fun to see great and look great. The Store Manager leads a team to deliver an exceptional guest experience, meeting all goals and commitments.

Major Duties and Responsibilities

  • Ensure Team Members deliver outstanding guest experiences by modeling and coaching the playground rules.
  • Set expectations for being Guest Ready and ensure adherence.
  • Manage store flow and be attentive to every guest and team member.
  • Develop clear action plans for team members' development and hold them accountable.
  • Provide timely feedback and conduct performance reviews.
  • Create a culture of being Simple, Fun, and In-style.
  • Build professional relationships with optical doctors and Target Hosts to grow business.
  • Recruit top talent and create effective schedules based on business trends.
  • Handle payroll, personnel paperwork, and manage inventory and shrinkage.
  • Ensure compliance with policies, merchandising, and sales strategies.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • 3+ years in customer service or retail
  • Entrepreneurial mindset, results-driven, critical thinker
  • Experience in recruiting, sales, and motivating others

Preferred Qualifications

  • Opticianary License or ABO Certification
  • 3+ years management experience
