is currently seeking a Vice President of Engineering for our client located in Woodlands, TX.

Job Description

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced VP of Engineering to join our executive team. This role is critical to our continued growth and innovation in the storage tank manufacturing industry.

Key Responsibilities

1. Develop and implement engineering strategies to improve product design, manufacturing processes, and technology integration.
2. Oversee new product development and existing product enhancement.
3. Collaborate with other departments to drive innovation and efficiency.
4. Work within ERP system “Netsuite” to develop BOMs and routers along with proper revision management.
5. Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
6. Lead a team of designers, manage design schedules, and contribute to design work as needed.
7. Work with customers to resolve issues.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering
• 7+ years of experience in engineering leadership roles
• Strong background in manufacturing, particularly in storage tank production and engineering
• Proven track record of successful project management and product development
• Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
• Drafting skills including AutoCAD and SolidWorks experience
